The Table Between- A New Devised Work

A devised work inspired by the seances conducted by Charles and Victor Hugo on the Isle of Jersey between 1851-1855. Text in this piece includes excerpts of seance transcripts (translated from ‘Les tables tournantes de Jersey’), Victor Hugo’s poetry, letters, and visual art, and Charles Hugo’s letters.
